Refunds Due To Class Size
Most, if not all, of my workshops have a minimum class size. This is
due to my having to rent the conference room where the workshop is held.
Once we get into our own office space (see more below), I'll remove the minimum
class size requirement since I'll have my own space.
If your workshop is cancelled due to the class size not being met, your
entire workshop fee will be refunded promptly via the method it was paid.
For instance, if you paid through the site, you paid with a credit card, so I would
refund your money through your credit card. If you paid in person by check, I'd just
give you your check back. If you paid in person with cash, you'd get the
cash back.
Refunds Due To Me Canceling
If I must cancel a workshop for any other reason, I will refund your money
just the same as if it was cancelled due to class size. Your money would
be refunded via the method by which you paid.
Instances In Which Refunds Cannot Be Made
All Workshop Registrations are Final Sales
Please choose your workshops carefully. I can't allow transfers from one class
to another; nor do I issue credits or refunds on class registrations.
Why? Because your dropping out may affect the class size enough that the
workshop would have to be canceled for the other students enrolled, which
wouldn't be fair. However... You may send someone to class in your
place. You can sell your seat to someone else you know who'd like to
come or you can give it away - it's up to you.
Pre-Registration
Pre-registration is required and reservations will not be held without payment
in full. As I mentioned above, if I cancel a workshop for any reason, you will
receive a prompt refund. Seating is limited and reserved for registered
students only. Please do not bring children or non-registered guests to class.
Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for all other classes is 16 years old. Parents...
if sending a 16-18 year old to one of my classes, please talk with me
personally at registration so I know your teen has your express permission to
be here. Unless I know you personally, a phone call or a note won't be
good enough. However, you can still call or email to arrange it and then
talk with me for a moment when you come in to pay.
