Freedom From Addiction

"The Program for people who hate 12-Step Programs."

Be prepared to take responsibility for your actions and really deal with the issues that are causing your addictive behavior in the first place.  Unlike the typical 12-Step Program...

  • We don't coddle you or promote "disease consciousness" in dealing with your drug use.
  • We won't spend our meetings coming up with a lot of excuses for drug use or the related crimes.
  • We won't have you drag your family in here for your tearful confessions and forced promises.
  • We won't be blaming your parents, your siblings, your bosses, or anyone else for your drug use.
  • We empower you to take charge of your life and give you the tools to live honestly and make better choices for yourself.

However, the 12-Step folks do have the right idea on some things...

  • You will report your wins at every meeting.
  • You will have a sponsor to call if you feel as if you're going to use.

You will learn how to control negative thinking patterns and recognize destructive relationships.  You'll learn the difference between "feeling good" and feeling good.  Substance abuse is an expression of self-loathing.  You'll learn to love and respect yourself, deal with underlying issues like depression, negative self-talk, worthiness, and more.

Substance abuse is also about resistance.  Resistance to health.  Resistance to love.  Resistance to success and wealth.  Resistance to spirituality.  And even... resistance to sexuality.

You will take responsibility for your actions and accept that poor, negative or undesired creations are still your creations, brought about by your most predominant thoughts.  You have both the power and the responsibility to change your undesirable creations.  How?  By taking charge of your own mind.

We'll discuss "defining" characteristics and choosing how you'll be defined, resistance to wellness, denial of accountability and responsibility, destruction of relationships.  We'll talk about negativity, anger, incoming and outgoing poison, bad or faulty beliefs and how to create a sanctuary in your own mind that will help you stay in control of how you feel.

This class can be taken as many times as you desire.

THIS WORKSHOP IS IN DEVELOPMENT AND WILL BE COMING SOON.  IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SIGN UP FOR THIS WORKSHOP AT THIS TIME.
